Remember When Jesse Ventura Investigated the Gulf Oil Spill Conspiracy?
Remember when WWE Hall of Famer, former governor of Minnesota, and one-time host of his TV series about conspiracy theories tried to blow the lid open on the Gulf Oil Spill that devastated the shores and communities of Louisiana with the help of the man behind InfoWars?
Oh, you don't? Let's fix that, and maybe even open your eyes...
Jesse Ventura's TV Series That Dared to Ask What They're Hiding
From 2009 to 2012, the truTV series Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura featured the famous multi-talented man Jesse Ventura with a crew of investigators traveling the world, basically trying to be the conspiracy theory version of Mythbusters.
The 7th episode of the 2nd season of the show was named "The Gulf Oil Spill (aka Louisiana Oil Spill)" and it got crazy to say the least. The episode starts simple enough, Jesse talks to investigative journalists who claim to have proof that the Gulf Oil Spill was planned, then he goes on a long journey of meeting other journalists, locals, and experts to dig in for himself.
Jesse Meets With Alex Jones To Find The Truth
While watching this episode for myself, a grin formed ear to ear on my face when, almost 30 minutes in, my ears were blessed with the unmistakable grovel of Alex Jones' voice, called in as an investigative journalist to show Jesse possible evidence.
If you know much of Alex Jones' content, then you've probably heard him mention the Exxon-Valdez Oil Spill, and you'd be a winner if you bet that he mentioned it to Jesse. What Alex was talking about had some grounding in reality, though. The cleanup from the spill has proven to be a danger to everyone involved, but the evil intent Alex intends might not be as grounded in reality.

The episode really gets wild when Jesse Ventura confronts a doctor from the Army Corps of Engineers about a real program the Corps had that was meant to depopulate the coastal areas. Jesse claimed the program wasn't intended to protect the people living there. It gets heated as Jesse throws all of the evidence he gathered throughout the whole episode.
The episode is available for free online now, so if you'd like to investigate the conspiracy theory behind not only the Gulf Oil Spill but also Hurricane Katrina.
