
Louisiana’s Own John Foster Returns Home for Parade and Concert
Addis, Louisiana native John Foster has been on quite the ride this season on American Idol. At one point, it looked like his days on the show were numbered. But, after a string of powerful performances, John isn't just in the Top 3 - he's arguably the favorite to be the next American Idol.
Louisiana's John Foster Stuns with 'Rainbow Connection' and 'Bare Necessities'
Monday night's episode of American Idol was to determine which remaining stars made the Top 3 and season finale on Sunday. Each contestant brought everything they had to the table, but once again, the star that shined the brightest was Louisiana's John Foster.

John performed 'Bare Necessities' from the Jungle Book and 'Rainbow Connection' from the Muppets movie. And, needless to say, he was INCREDIBLE. If you missed his performances, check out the videos below:

What's Next for Louisiana's John Foster?
What's next? Well, the first stop is home. Ahead of Sunday night's big American Idol finale, all the finalist are going to spend it at home with friends and family.
And, in typically Louisiana fashion, we're going to celebrate John's success the only way we know how - with a huge party! There's going to be a parade & concert in his honor. According to WBRZ, West Baton Rouge will be throwing a big parade on Wednesday - starting at 5 PM and ending in a free concert.

After the giant celebration ends, John still has a little work to do.
The 'American Idol' season finale is Sunday at 7pm on ABC. Whether he wins or not, John has come off looking like a star and WILL have a future in music. In fact, rumors are swirling online that there's already a record deal in place. Regardless, whether he wins or loses, he's still going to be a winner.
