Kanye West Involved In Altercation With Paparazzi

Kanye West allegedly got into a physical fight with a paparrazzo at Los Angeles International Airport Friday.

TMZ reports that photos have surfaced showing West getting physical with one of five paparazzi who swarmed him shortly after landing at LAX. It's unknown as to what prompted the altercation, but the report alleges that one photographer became "especially aggressive" towards West.

Police are unable to confirm whether West was actually involved because "the alleged suspect left the scene."

LAX police issued a statement which read, "Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (on the arrival level curbside), Los Angeles Airport Police officers were flagged down by a citizen (photographer) who alleged that he was taking pictures of an individual when he was battered by the subject.

"The alleged suspect was not at the location nor was he observed by officers at the scene."

The statement continued, "LAFD was notified, responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention. A police report was taken by the Los Angeles Police Department and the investigation is ongoing."

A source at the scene reports that West attempted to take the photographer's camera and took him to the ground when he wouldn't let go. After getting back up, the photog complained of hip pains before being checked out at LAX and taken to a local hospital to undergo x-rays on his hip.
