Dancing was done, money was raised, and I met Becca Tilley.

Dancing for the Cure showed up in grand form Saturday night at Horseshoe Casino Riverdome. Over 400 guests were in attendance to watch local media personalities duke it out on the dance for in hopes of raising money for Susan G Komen and taking home that pink mirror ball trophy.

And KSLA's Domonique Benn won big!

Domonique started off ballroom dancing to Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud' with her husband of 10 years, but then things took a very hot twist as they broke into some serious moves to a medley of heart pumping pop and hip hop songs. She captivated the audience. She took home the overall dance title with a perfect 30 out of 30 score.

She also won the People's Choice award for raising the most money. Almost $3,000.

There was another dancer who receive perfect marks in her dancing. Jacque Jovic of KTAL also received a perfect 30 out of 30 score. However, the judges deliberated and crowned Domonique.

One of those judges was Shreveport native Becca Tilley. I chatted with her for a bit after the show and she is easily one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.
