Susan G Komen’s ‘Dancing For The Cure’ Set To Reveal Celebrity Dancers Tonight

One of the highlight events of the year in the Ark-La-Tex is finally here. Susan G Komen's annual Dancing For The Cure is set and this year, they have eight celebrity dancers looking to take home the top prize at the Horseshoe Riverdome.

For those unaware, every year Susan G Komen teams up with Vicki's School of Dance and a handful of local partners to raise money and awareness towards fighting breast cancer through dancing.

It's like Dancing With The Stars on a local level, and everyone (over the age of 21) is allowed to come watch and cheer on their favorite local celebrity. This year, as opposed to year's past when the winner was chosen purely by three judges, the audience will have a chance to vote on their favorite dancer as well!

Each celebrity chosen will also have their own Susan G Komen Facebook page where they can promote the show, give practice updates, and raise money directly towards Susan G Komen.

Tonight, March 15th, they are finally revealing who the eight celebrities are in an awesome celebrity bartender/waiter event. The big reveal gets underway at Twisted Root on Line Ave in Shreveport at 5:00PM. The celebrities will be revealed and they will either be your bartender or your waiter for the evening.
