Louisiana Lottery Looking at Online Sales Options

The Louisiana Lottery is toying around with the idea of offering online sales.

I have given a pretty penny to the Louisiana lottery though the years, yet here I am writing this blog at 11:30 PM so clearly my investment into the lottery hasn't paid off.... Yet.

The idea of being able to play the lotto online is pretty scary to me personally, because I know I won't be able to resist! Believe it or not, there are eleven other states that allow online purchases on their lottery, so it's probably only a matter of time before Louisiana joins them.

Of course, the major roadblock for our state is that we have strict laws prohibiting online gambling. That would need to change for the Louisiana Lottery to make the move to online.

Personally, I think it's overdue for Louisiana to revisit our online gambling laws, but then again, I'm a gambler myself so I'm biased.
