Employee at LSU Wendy’s Arrested For Pulling a Gun on Customer
One of the things that drives me crazy is rudeness coming from the employees at a fast food restaurant. Surely, it's not that big of an inconvenience when I ask for some extra ketchup - is it? Based on the looks and grunts I get from some drive-thru operators, I might as well have asked for a pint of blood!
After reading the story of what went down in at the Wendy's located at Louisiana State University - I may have misjudged the rude fast-food workers in Shreveport/Bossier City, because none of them have ever threatened to shoot me.
Can I get some assault with those fries?
According to the report from CBS 42, 3 students approached East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies around 11 p.m. on Saturday night with claims that they had been threatened at gunpoint by a man working at the LSU location of Wendy's in Baton Rouge. LSU police coordinated efforts with the deputies during the investigation. According to the report, campus police had this to say:
One victim stated she was engaged in a verbal argument with the manager, when the defendant, an employee, walked to the back and returned with a bag,
The employee, 21-year-old Keith Johnson Jr. (pictured at the top) allegedly pulled a gun out of that bag and threatened the argumentative patron with it.
The gun wasn't the only thing in the bag
Obviously, deputies went straight to the Wendy's in question. That's where they found the suspect and the bag described by the victim. When authorities searched the bag, they found the gun and a small amount of marijuana.
Keith Johnson Jr. will probably miss his next shift
Mr. Johnson was arrested immediately, and is being charged with carrying a firearm in a firearm-free zone, aggravated assault and simple possession of marijuana.
