LSU Student Found Dead In Cypress Hall On Campus

A female student was found dead in Cypress Hall on campus earlier today (09/17/19).

Lsurevellie.com reports LSUPD recieved a call about an unresponsive student found in Cypress Hall around 3:50 p.m. LSUPD is currently investigating the cause of death.

A prayer circle is currently being organized by students for tonight at 8:30 outside of Cypress Hall.

The cause of death is unknown at this time, and the body was released to the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office, according to LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard.
