Police officers who were conducting a routine traffic stop in Minden, Louisiana over the weekend allegedly stumbled into a veritable cornucopia of drugs that were in the possession of a man whose luck kept getting worse and worse.  Don't get me wrong, if you are driving around with everything 40-year-old Michael Bradley is accused of having in his vehicle - you should absolutely go to jail based on the fact that you are definitely a danger to society.

This story all starts this past Saturday when officers in Minden reportedly pulled Bradley over after witnessing him crossing the double line.  That's when Bradley told authorities that he didn't have a license or proof of insurance.  After running his name, law enforcement officials would learn that Bradley's license was actually suspended.

Though it was clear that Bradley wouldn't be driving the vehicle away, the attending officer was cool enough to let him call for a properly licensed driver to retrieve the car.  That's when officers requested to search the vehicle - Bradley declined.  A K-9 unit was then brought to the scene, and the dog quickly hit on the vehicle.  At that time, Bradley reportedly told officers that he had a small amount of meth and pot in the car.

A resulting search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of:

  • 13.92 grams of methamphetamine
  • 11.82 grams of marijuana
  • 1.92 grams of powder cocaine
  • 2 oxycodone / acetaminophen pills
  • 1 oxycodone hydrochloride pill
  • 1 alprazolam pill
  • a used needle, 2 meth pipes, 1 THC was pipe, a digital scale and a push rod

According to the report from BRProud, the search also found an unknown substance that has been sent to a lab for testing.

To make matters worse for Bradley, the person he called to pick up his car showed up during the search.  That person was reportedly his boss.  According to BRProud, the unnamed employer quickly changed his mind when he learned that his employee was being arrested for drugs.

Officially, Michael Bradley was arrested on charges of: Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of powder cocaine, 2 counts of possession of oxycodone, possession of Schedule IV alprazolam, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper lane usage.
