It all starts this Friday, May 24th, 2024 at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport and we've got all the essential info you need right here, laid out in a quick, easy-to-read page. Here's everything you need to know for Mudbug Madness 40!

• Open Friday through Sunday from 11 am - 11 pm.
• Live music is the backbone of Mudbug and here are each day's headliners.
  • Friday, May 24 - Reed Foley and Terrance Simien
  • Saturday, May 25 - Cowboy Mouth and Sammy Kershaw
  • Sunday, May 26 - Craig Wayne Boyd and Dwayne Dopsie

  The big four contests are back!

  • Celebrity Crawfish Eating Contest Friday 11:30 am
  • Men's Crawfish Eating Contest Saturday 1 pm
  • Crawfish Calling Contest Saturday 4:15 pm
  • Women's Crawfish Eating Contest Sunday 2:30 pm

  Other things you need to know

  • There will be lots of crawfish... boiled, broiled, cooked, etc... and lots of adult beverages and activities for the kiddos, too! The cost to get in is $10 and you can get a 3-day pass for $15
  • Free admission until 5 pm Friday with $5 lunch specials from 11 am - 2 pm and happy hour from 11 am - 7 pm with all drinks $4
  • Children under 12 years are free
  • Military get in free all weekend long
  • The Mudbug Madness 5K is Friday starting at 6:45 pm
