Shreveport Mudbugs General Manager Scott Muscutt talks about the current state of Mudbugs hockey, this year's team and the pressures of being a defending champion.

Muscutt tells listeners that because of the team's two-decade tradition of excellence, "you come equipped with expectations every year. But the reality is, it's hard to come right back after it, after a championship year at this level." The GM then explains how Mudbugs hockey put "twenty two players (from last year's team) at the next level."

The Mudbugs, defending Robertson Cup champions, play in the North American Hockey League, one of the top junior hockey leagues in America. Players are mostly college age and retain their amateur status.
