Ne-Yo Sued For Defamation By Ex-Girlfriend

A woman who once claimed that Ne-Yo was the father of her child has sued the singer for defamation after she claims he trashed her during a television interview.

Jesseca White says that during an interview with Ne-Yo for an episode of "Behind the Music", the singer described her as "an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child ... so that she could fraudulently bilk him of 'ungodly amounts of money.'"

Jesseca and Ne-Yo were once an item, and when she gave birth to a baby in 2005, she listed him as the father on the birth certificate. A subsequent paternity test later revealed that he was not the father.

Jesseca allegedly told Ne-Yo that she wasn't sure who the father was, but he told VH1 that  she tried to perpetrate a fraud. As a result, she says she has been the subject of harassment and name-calling, including "pathetic" and "gold-digging b***h", and also claims that the accusations have destroyed her career as a photographer and a graphic designer.

Jesseca is seeking unspecified damages, according to TMZ.
