New Fingernail Art Tracks UV Exposure
It might be a little early to start thinking about the summer, but it is never too early to think about your skin care. As someone who is extremely pale (the color of my makeup powder is called "barely there"), it is almost a full time job reapplying sunscreen during the sunnier months.
According to Cosmopolitan, there is this crazy new contraption that you stick onto your fingernail and it tracks your UV exposure. This tiny devise is called UV Sense.
This tiny little thing is super nifty. I am not really fond of the idea of having this little tech bubble stuck to my thumb for about three weeks, but if it helps me from not scorching myself in the sun then I would try it.
According to Digital Trends, the device is "no wider than a dime and as thick as an M&M, the solar-powered device has no battery, moving parts, or buttons. It sticks on your fingernail — or necklace, shirt button, or bracelet — and uses a sensor to measure UV exposure."
Would you wear this? Answer in the comments below.
