Our Top 5 Shreveport/Bossier City Weekend Events Friday, April 6 – Sunday, April 8

This Saturday is the kick off to the 2018 season of the Bossier City Farmers Market on the south side of the Pierre Bossier Mall from 9am - 1pm. The event features 100+ vendors with plenty of farm to table goods, handmade items and more with free parking galore!

If you don't already have tickets to Cork, you're out of luck, because this annual event is already sold out for this Saturday in Shreveport's downtown Festival Plaza from 2-5pm. However, if you're fortunate enough to come across a ticket, you'll be able to sample over 80 wines from around the world!

It's always Sunny and 75 when Joe Nichols is in town and he's playing the Stage at Silver Star this Saturday night! Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. This is a 21+ show... because Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off... Don't worry, there will be tequila specials and tickets are just $35!

If you're like me and working to get your yard in shape for the year, you don't want to miss the Northwest Louisiana Master Gardeners Spring Plant Sale this Saturday at the Randle T. Moore Center in Shreveport on the corner Fairfield Avenue and Kings from 8am-12pm. These folks are the experts when it comes to knowing what grows when and where in our area!

The Sci-Port Discovery Center IMAX Theater opens this weekend (finally!) showing Pandas and Journey to the South Pacific. Both are IMAX original films. Tickets are $12 for ages 3 and up.
