Participate in 5K Tonight to Benefit NSU Staff Member Diagnosed With Cancer

Meet Dr. Kandace Landreneau. She is a longtime staff member at Northwestern State University, and now she needs our help.

The community has rallied around Kandace since she was diagnosed with an inoperable, aggressive brain cancer last year. A year later, she continues to work at NSU, and looks forward to passing many more "expiration dates."

Tonight, in Shreveport, NSU will host a 5K to benefit their beloved Dr. The race is set to begin at 6:00 PM at the Stoner skateboard park in Shreveport. Race day registration and packet pick-up is today, April 21st from 5:00 to 5:45 PM at the Stoner skateboard park parking lot.

To run in tonights 5K, it will only cost you $45 and will directly benefit Dr. Landreneau in her battle with cancer.
