Today, citizens of the Ark-La-Tex woke up to the outstanding news that Paul McCartney is coming to the CenturyLink Center on Saturday, July 15th.

While this news is exciting, I feel it gives us an opportunity to revisit my favorite conspiracy theory, second only to the Barksdale Bubble... Which is totally real by the way, unlike this Paul McCartney mess.

Believe it or not, there is quite a bit of people out there that believe Paul McCartney actually died in 1966. Of course, there is no possible way that actually happened, and there's no doubt Sir Paul McCartney is alive and well. For fun, let's look into the faulty clues that these conspiracy theorist believe in.

In 1969, observing fans pointing towards clues within album covers and artwork, and even lyrics of actual songs.

One popular clue is the Abbey Road photo. Per wikipedia, the photo symbolizes "a funeral procession, where Lennon, dressed in white, symbolizes the heavenly figure. Ringo Starr, dressed in black, symbolizes the undertaker, George Harrison, in denim, symbolizes the gravedigger, and McCartney, barefoot and out of step with the others, symbolizes the corpse." In the popular Beatles song, "Strawberry Fields Forever", it's often been rumored that John Lennon say's, "I buried Paul" in the final stanza. However, Lennon claims the lyrics are actually, "Cranberry Sauce", which actually makes a lot of since and it actually sounds like he says the latter.

So what do you think? Is the actual Paul McCartney dead or are those people who believe that complete nut-jobs?

We are so thrilled to see Sir Paul McCartney coming to Bossier City. Tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime concert go on sale tomorrow, which can be purchased by clicking HERE.
