Pitcher Fools Baserunner With Classic Hidden Ball Trick [VIDEO]

The oldest trick in the book still works to perfection.

Ah, this brings back some sweet memories. I remember playing baseball for Evangel from 2005-2009, we would practice this exact play on a weekly basis. Although, we never actually tried it in a game, it's nice to see a team go for it... And succeed.

This is a thing of beauty.

Here we see a pitcher at the American Legion Baseball World Series try out the ole hidden ball trick. In the clip, we see the pitcher fake a pick-off throw to second, then quickly behave as if the ball flew out to center field.

The baserunner believed everything,and thought he was just awarded a free trip to third base. Once he started running, the pitcher then threw the ball to his infielders, who quickly tagged him out.

This is just too good, bravo!
