Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has always prided itself on it's Louisiana roots, even in those national television commercials we see all the time. And really, Popeyes fried chicken IS Louisiana. So, it's only natural that they would devise a charitable campaign to help out those less fortunate in the Bayou State during this worldwide health crisis.

Popeyes has teamed up with Second Harvest Food Bank  to sell 'NOLA Strong' meal packs, with all proceeds going to our largest hunger relief agency. The meal pack consists of 12 pieces of delicious chicken, two sides, six biscuits, and a NOLA Strong tee shirt and hat, all for $28. They even got actor/director Wendell Pierce to narrate a video (below) about the project from his hometown of New Orleans.

The meal packs are available for a limited time, and all proceeds from the packs, and apparel, will go towards the Million Meal pledge to Second Harvest that Popeyes has made.
