Poppy Announces North American 'Computer Tour'

That Poppy is finally getting real, everyone. After a whirlwind of a year in 2016, releasing her debut EP Bubblebath and later on her debut LP 3:36 (Music to Sleep To), and a very busy 2017 of steady single releases and video premieres, the star sensation known for her YouTube presence and ambient pop music is hitting the road for a tour of the United States and Canada this fall.

Poppy has steadily been building a devoted fan base and collection of videos that are at once VHS-esque and very, very digital, taking a distinctly more pastel path than the vaporwave her style echoes of. Buzzfeed recently published an article titled "Poppy Is The Best Person On The Internet, Someone Might As Well Say It," a joking-but-definitely-not-kidding primer on Poppy. Her persona is a balance of tongue-in-cheek humor and deadly sincerity that she cultivates with lots of animation and perfectly pink lips.
