On May 4, 2021, the day before Cinco de Mayo, Taco Bell is celebrating what the company is calling a "Taco Moon" by giving away free Crunchy Tacos.

Even though Taco Bell doesn't claim to own the copyrights to a lunar phase of the moon, on May 4, 2021, the moon will appear to take the shape of a taco. So the Mexican fast-food giant is giving away tacos to celebrate the moon looking like a taco.

Now, you would think Taco Bell would have this big free taco giveaway on Cinco de Mayo, but that's not the case. Chewboom claims that Taco Bell will give fans of the fast-food chain a free Crunchy Taco on May 4, 2021, just BEFORE Cinco de Mayo.

Simply stop by any participating Taco Bell location on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, between 8 p.m. and 11.59 p.m. for one free Crunchy Taco using the Taco Bell app or website.

Taco Bell is rolling out "I see a Taco" campaign over the next few months. The Crunchy Taco giveaway is the big event the company is using to execute the begging of the new campaign.

Consumers will start seeing tacos everywhere, which is really just the beginning of reaching ultimate brand fandom.-Taco Bell Press Release

Taco Bell is not totally ignoring Cinco de Mayo. Taco Bell Rewards beta members will get two additional unique offers all day on May 4, 2021, and May 5, 2021. Members will receive bonus points for ordering certain items online and for delivery.
