‘Rising Artist Of Shreveport’ Art Show Tonight In Downtown Shreveport
Love art want to support local artists? Tonight there’s an art show going on in downtown Shreveport that is showcasing local talent’s work. I talked with one of the artists Kandi about the show this is what she had to say about it.
‘It's a local art show for rising artists, Casey Varner and myself are hosting at Club Status on the river front, from 6-9 pm we'll be showing art, drinking, talking about pieces, taking bids on some, then Ian Quiet will play a short set of wacky fun music then we'll switch over to EDM with some DJ's from Ohio, TX, and local. Drink specials and no cover all night”
What happens when you get a group of young aspiring artist together. We throw a show as our way of getting our names out there. Come out and see some of the greatest art SBC has to offer. From some of the greatest talent to call Shreveport home. Artist on the roster have been critically acclaimed in other venues. This is one of the only shows where all proceeds from the artwork sold go directly to the artist.
Come out and meet this awesome group of talent look at some great work and be able to purchase it now before they all blow up.
All artist would like to say thank you to Billy Hoffman for supporting young local talent. The show is guaranteed great art as well some performance art and a few local singer songwriters. Casey always throws a great show. The last one in Shreveport is still talked about.

(a larger than life personality she shines even brighter through her art work)

( a well known local photographer and personality. Casey's work is a mix of beauty and surrealism. His work uses little photoshop making each picture that much realistic)
