Popular Shreveport Restaurant Is Making a Comeback

Sabores Bar and Grill is back in business. This restaurant will feature Dominican and Caribbean specialties plus so much more.
Sabores was most recently open on Industrial Drive in Bossier City. But they also had a location on South Lakeshore Drive. For the past year, they have been working on a comeback and now is the time.
Sabores Bar and Grill is hosting a soft opening on December 15. The new location is 820 Shreveport Barksdale Highway. This special place will be open from 11am-10pm.
If you never tried Sabores before, you might want to think about dropping in to try the amazing eggplant dishes. You should also venture out and check out some of the other favorites: Tostones which are fried green plantains, or the Dominican style spaghetti, the seafood stew or the amazing Sancocho which is Dominican stew made of a variety of starchy vegetables like yuca, plantain & potato in a savory beef broth.
A couple of other dishes that are amazing are the chicken breast in garlic sauce or the braised pork chops. Your taste buds will not be disappointed.

Many of the items found on the Sabores menu aren't available anywhere else in Shreveport. It is so great to have them back. The Cuban sandwich is also something you might want to grab for lunch.
And be sure to save room for one of the fruity papaya shakes.
