Scientist Claims To Have Engineered Perfect Christmas Song [LISTEN]
So what do you think, is it a hit?
I think this is the most 2017 thing ever. We're now at a point in society where Jingle Bells and Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer simply aren't enough. Now, we have to scientifically create a song that uses an algorithm to somehow make us feel happy... It's strange, I know, but it gets even weirder!
A scientist (with clearly too much time on his hands) set out to creat the greatest Christmas song ever devised. So how did he do it?
Well, basically he took literally every aspect of popular Christmas songs and combined them. He studied the lyrics, tempo, vocals, and musical key of 200 of the top Christmas classics to figure out what we loved the most.
Then he engineered this song, titled "Love's Not Just for Christmas".
The craziest thing about this? He may have actually done it. I'm not saying this is the greatest Christmas song ever, but it ain't bad. It's very catchy, and sounds oddly familiar. Maybe if it catches and we sing it nonstop for years and years to come, it could become a classic, who knows?
Gotta love science!
