Many of us may feel like we are in the clear after enduring the horrid storms last night, but scary weather is headed our way again. Many of us are monitoring our weather apps as we should be. Caddo Parish Sheriff's Facebook page is on high alert and they want us all to be too.

Here is What the Alert Said on Their Facebook Page.

"Caddo Parish faces a slight risk of severe weather today. Enhanced risk for tornadoes, 80 mph winds, hail, and heavy rain is just east of our area. All should be prepared and remain alert. Always check local news and the US National Weather Service Shreveport Louisiana for the latest on severe weather. "

Tuesday Night Was Scary for Many of Us.

At one point I thought that there was a train barreling toward my apartment. Driving into work this morning was unsettling. Widespread damage has been reported all across NWLA from the strong overnight storms.

We are still seeing several reports from several neighborhoods about trees and power lines down. One of the hardest-hit areas is the South Bossier Mobile Home Park on Alfred Lane behind Pak's Karate. Several trees were knocked down into homes in that area the pictures that have surfaced are so disheartening.

North Bossier and Benton Also Took a Big Hit During Last Nights Storms.

Several residents have reported heavy damage to homes on Willow Bend off Old Plain Dealing Road in north Benton. Check out what the Bossier Sheriff's Department posted on their page below.
