Widespread damage is reported across Shreveport and Bossier City from strong overnight storms. Reports have been coming in from several neighborhoods about trees and power lines down.

What Areas Have Storm Damage?

Here are some of the preliminary reports from residents across the region.

Debris is reported along Youree Drive near Sophia.

Tree fell across a power line on Monrovia.
Stephenson at Dillingham is completely blocked.
A utility line was knocked down at Linden and Creswell.

There is also widespread damage in south Bossier. One of the hardest hit areas is the South Bossier Mobile Home Park on Alfred Lane behind Pak's Karate. Several trees were knocked down into homes in that area.

Residents also report heavy damage to homes on Willow Bend off Old Plain Dealing Road in north Benton.

Damage reports are coming in from residents on Rossie Lee (off of Barksdale).

Numerous trees were knocked down.
Damage is also reported in Plantation Trace Estates.
There is also damage in the Shady Grove and Mike Woods Park area.

Residents of Peppertree reported flying debris during the height of the storm

One homeowner on Williamson Way reported a gas grill was blown over and the gazebo was torn up.
Fence damage is reported at the Haven in southeast Shreveport.

There are also reports of a tree down near Bossier Elementary.

Trees all along East Kings near LSUS have been knocked down.

The National Weather Service-Shreveport will survey the damage today to try to determine if this damage was caused by a tornado or high winds.
