Shemar Moore Leaves ‘Criminal Minds’

After eleven seasons, Shemar Moore says goodbye to Criminal Minds.

The actor, who plays FBI agent Derek Morgan on the CBS series, made his last appearance in Wednesday's episode.

Moore cited his desire for a family as the reason for leaving the show, telling TVLine he wants to "walk my dogs, travel, get married, have kids. I want balance, and it's hard to do with the schedule that we have."

"It's a weird experience," he later told The Hollywood Reporter. "I just spent 11 years with a group of people and it's a weird thing to walk away from—but I did it on my terms and in the right way."

I'm guessing Penelope Garcia's taking this extra hard.
