Shreveport Moms, Your “Third Place” is Coming Soon! Meet Sprout

Shreveport will forever have some of the most unique spaces. However, there is a third place for moms that hasn't existed until now. What is a third place? A "third place" or "third space" refers to social environments outside of your home that foster a sense of community and belonging. Your Home is considered your "first place", your workplace is called a "second place".

New moms and moms of young children in Shreveport are about to have a huge life upgrade in June through a very unique third place. What if you could get together with other moms who have kids the same age as yours, and your children play with each other, burn off energy, and you get to sit and sip on a latte and share parental hacks with another parent who is going off as just as much sleep as you? Sounds like the perfect place, right?

Sprout is a New Gathering Place for Families in Shreveport

Sprout's motto is "Play, coffee, connection, and space to just be". The crew at Sprout is working hard to create a modern gathering place for families. The team at Sprout has described the space as "A calm, thoughtfully designed space where little ones can explore through open-ended play, and grown-ups can sip a latte, connect, or simply catch their breath." The owners of Sprout claim that they have been there and they get it, so this third place was a no brainer for them to create for the Shreveport community.

Families Will Be Able to Have Memberships to Sprout in Shreveport

Although we don't know the exact business model of Sprout yet, it seems like this will be a come when you need to catch your breath or your kids need to burn off energy. You will have to purchase a membership to be part of Sprout. The age group for children at Sprout will be 0 to 6.
