Several Shreveport Parents Arrested for Truancy Violations

On November 8th and 9th 2022, Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Abatement Team and Warrant Unit Members combined with Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, Caddo Parish Juvenile Services, Truancy Assessment Services Center, Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office in a joint Truancy operation to combat juvenile criminal activities.

The purpose of the operation was to target parents or concerning adults for truancy offenses in which the adults are believed to be negligent. All warrants were obtained through Caddo Juvenile Courts for the arrest of these individuals.

Twelve adults were arrested and are listed as follows:

Suspect: Kevin Williams DOB 08/24/1983
