Beat the Heat at Shreveport’s Public Pools and Splash Pads
If you're feeling the heat, fear not! Shreveport's got your back with some cool spots to beat the heat at any one of Shreveport's public pools or splash pads.
I don't know about you, but I think it's already unseasonably hot! And with triple-digit heat indices already on the books this year, who wouldn't dream of diving into a pool to cool off, right? But if you're like me and don't have a pool, don't fret. The City of Shreveport has us covered.
SPAR (that's Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation) and the City of Shreveport are here to help! Their splash pads are already open and will be until October 1st, daily from 8 am to 8 pm. FYI, water shoes are recommended.
