Shreveport Radio DJ Caught Sleeping While Driving [VIDEO]

Technology might have saved my life today.

Earlier this morning, I was fortunate enough to join my friend Erin McCarty for a quite ear;y lunch. Naturally, those morning show types get up super early, somewhere between 2-4am, so I knew she would be pretty tired.

I just didn't realize exactly how tired she would be.

So you can imagine my shock when I look over on our way back to the studio and literally see Erin driving down the interstate with her eyes completely closed. I can't say for sure if she was sleeping, but her eyes were definitely closed.

Now, you're probably asking yourself why I started filming her instead of immediately waking her up... Well, that's because I knew she was driving a self-driving car and we had already experimented with it on the way to breakfast.

Still, pretty scary!
