“Silent” Short Film Review
This happened last night and I just couldn't wait to tell you all about it.
So last night, the kiddos and I were right in the middle of our standard nightly routine. That routine generally consists of us three piling together in the living room and bouncing around from Netflix show to Netflix show. Usually I'll let each daughter pick a show to watch for a little bit, then we'll switch and the other one will pick.
After about three rounds, River, my oldest daughter, got very excited before she made her next suggestion. She was trying to explain to me what it was but wasn't really making much sense. She said "It's Silent, and it's the shortest movie ever!" I, of course, have no idea what she's talking about.
Finally we figured out she was saying the name of the movie was "Silent".
So we found it and watched it, and although it was only two minutes long, it truly was one of the most amazing pieces of art I've ever watched. Then the credits roll and BOOM, I see Moonbot Studios created it. So now I'm freaking out telling my daughter that the short film was made right here in Shreveport! She thought that was the coolest thing ever.
So if you have two minutes to spare and haven't seen it yet, it's on Netflix right now.
