Six Flags Contest Puts You in a Coffin for 30 Hours
October is always a special time at Six Flags. The amusement park loves Halloween, and loves to show it with a month long event called Fright Night - that's when the theme park transforms into a scream park! Six Flags has always embraced the macabre around this time of year with spooky decorations and costumed characters replacing the usual fun atmosphere with a dark and brooding (but still fun) ambiance - but this year the park is taking things a bit farther.
Six Flags St. Louis is giving 6 thrill seekers a shot at winning $300 and a prize pack that includes VIP Haunted House passes, a ticket for two people to ride the Freak Train for Freaks Unleashed, and two Gold Season Passes for 2019. The Gold Season Pass gets the holder into any of the 13 Six Flags parks across the country - for the entirety of 2019. The catch is - you have to lie in a coffin at the park for 30 hours.
Contestants will get 6 minutes each hour in which to use the bathroom. If they get out for any other reason - they lose. Participants will be able to have a friend sit with them during normal operating hours, but when the park closes for the night it's a completely different story. They won't be alone though, the enthusiastic actors dressed in their scary best will try their hardest to raise you from your slumber.
BTW, if you win - Six Flags will totally give you the coffin, too.
