South Carolina Officer Behind Bars After Shooting an Unarmed Man [GRAPHIC]

News broke this afternoon that South Carolina police officer Michael Slager has been arrested and charged with murder after shooting what appears to be an unarmed man in the back.

The incident took place this past Saturday, but is now making waves across the nation due to this graphic video being released. 

50 year old Walter Scott was wanted for arrest after failing to pay child support. Scoot fled police after a traffic stop, which led officer Slager to chase him while shooting a stun gun.

The two finally came close enough to a point where there was a tussle of some sort. Officer Slager says at that point, Scott attempted to take his stun gun, causing him to feel "threatened" enough to fire his gun.

A bystander captured the event on video, and as we all know, the tape doesn't lie. The video shows no "tussle." It does, however, show officer Slager firing 8 shots into the back of the 50 year old, as he's running away. That's not all. After Scott collapses on the ground, the officer goes to him and places him in handcuffs on the ground. Then he appears to lay something near the victim, my guess would be the taser.

Officer Slager was arrested today and booked into the Charleston County jail on a murder charge.
