SPD Officer Arrested For Possession, Theft

A Shreveport police officer has been arrested following an ongoing investigation.

51-year-old Bernice Lefeat was booked for one charge each of possession of schedule II, malfeasance in office, possession of a legend drug without a prescription and two counts of theft of a firearm.

Lefeat was arrested Tuesday at his home in Keithville. He was then booked into the Caddo Corrections Center on a bond of $17,000.
