Spider-Man Miles Morales Is Coming to Shreveport This Summer
Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport for year #8 at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Geek'd Con Started Back in 2015, and Only Missed in 2020 Due to the Pandemic.
Since its start, Geek'd Con has been one of the premiere comic con-style events in the state of Louisiana. The event has generated millions of dollars in economic impact to the Shreveport and Bossier City area. While also bringing in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, Star Wars icons, Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame members, and horror movie legends.
The 2023 Dates are Going to Be August 18th Through 20th.

Geek'd Con Just Announced That Miles Morales is Coming to Shreveport.

"Guest Announcement: Don't look now, but Miles Morales is coming to Geek'd Con!
Nadji Jeter has voiced the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man since 2017 when he debuted on Disney XD's Spider-Man. From there, he became the motion-capture and voice of Miles Morales in the Sony video game Marvel's Spider-Man.
He continued to provide the voice and motion-capture for the character through the video game universe, including Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man 2 sequel game.
Outside of his Spidey work, Nadji also provided the visual model and voice for Sam in the original The Last of Us video game in 2013.
He also played Andre McKenzie in Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2, Justin Hollander in Wonder, and Terry in Jessie.

Geek'd Con 2023 will follow the traditional Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule. Opening with a Vendor Preview Night on Friday, where the public is welcome to shop from over 100 vendor booths with unique collectibles, hand-crafted items, artwork, and more. Vendors from all across the United States come to Geek'd Con every year, and offer a wide selection of items. That doesn't include the tremendous volume of local artists who attend the event every year as well.
