There Shreveport Mudbugs and Geek'd Con are coming together this weekend for a couple of MASSIVE nights of geeky fun. Tomorrow night the Mudbugs will break out their super powers for Super Hero Night, but tonight we travel to a galaxy far, far away for PUCK WARS!

Grab the family and bring them out to George's Pond at Hirsch Coliseum for some Star Wars fun for geeks of all ages. Where cosplay is strongly encouraged, especially for the kids. You'll be able to take a ton of pictures around the Hirsch in your cosplay, and you will even get to meet up with a full functioning R2-D2!

After tonight's Star Wars fun, we look ahead to Saturday night, which will be Super Hero Night. Where the Mudbugs themselves will be getting in on the cosplay when they debut their brand new Spider-Man influenced jerseys...

You can even get one for yourself, because after the game, the team will be auctioning off the game worn Spidey jerseys.

But that's not all. There will be a lot more happening Saturday night for Super Hero Night. Including free comic books. Yup, you read that right. The first 500 people in the door will get a FREE COMIC BOOK!

Commemorative Super Hero Mystery Pucks on sale in the Swamp Shack with one winning puck gets signed Mudbugs memorabilia/merch.

You can also shop with geek related vendors who will be on-site too.

Then, when the game is over, there will also be Public Skating available to fans.
