Sunflower Trail and Festival Returns to the Ark-La-Tex

I have seen so many people post photos of them in sunflower fields. I have always wondered where they go, well the secret is out. If you want a new awesome profile picture don't miss the 21st Annual Sunflower Trail and Festival. The Festival will take over Gilliam, Louisiana on Saturday, June 15th. From 9:00 am to 3:00 pm you and your family can check out everything this sweet town loves to celebrate. For 20 years now this celebration has provided art and entertainment for all ages. If you love events like Red River Revel you have to check out the handmade items for sale by heritage crafters and artists. Your Instagram is about to step its game up, think of all the photos you can take in this cute quaint town. If you have kids they will most likely stay entertained by the hands-on arts and crafts activities for children. A lot of people love supporting the small town economy by grabbing lunch at nearby businesses including Main Street Restaurant, James Country Store, Rosie’s Grill in Gilliam, as well as and D&I General Store.

The festival will be going down at the Crossroads Museum in Gilliam, which is right off of Highway 3049 which some locals call Dixie/Shreveport Road. The Red River Crossroads Historical Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit is the proud presenter of the 21st Annual Sunflower Trail and Festival.
