Before The Walking Dead shambles into Comic-Con tomorrow with a full trailer, AMC has debuted the first official teaser for Season 9. The brief sneak peek offers a look at the various communities attempting to rebuild in the wake of Negan’s terror, while Danai Gurira’s Michonne talks to Lauren Cohan’s Maggie about setting new rules for how they should treat one another. Should go over well!

New Line took over San Diego Comic-Con last night for ScareDiego, teasing a few of the studio’s upcoming horror films — including, obviously, IT: Chapter Two. But the highly-anticipated sequel to Andy Muschietti’s horror hit wasn’t the only film on the docket: James Wan was on hand to confirm a third installment of Annabelle, based on the creepy doll from the Conjuring franchise.

United just can’t catch a break these days. Between the awkwardness of #LeggingsGate and that passenger who got literally dragged from the plane by TSA agents, you’d think the airline would learn to tread softly in the following months, especially during an event as stressful and crazy as Comic Con. But passengers heading back from the convention on Sunday who had spent the event loading up on pristine first editions and omnibuses of their favorite comics were dismayed when a message popped up on TV screens at the United check-in line: “Remove all books from checked bags.”

Unless you’ve been taking a break from your phone this past weekend - we all do it from time-to-time, it’s totally healthy to unplug every now and then - you’ve probably been inundated with new superhero movie and television rumors. New Marvel shows! New DC movies! Prequels! Sequels! Reboots! Reimaginings! After a few months of radio silence from Marvel on the Ant-Man and the Wasp front, the last two weeks have seen a flurry of activity. First there was the announcement that Randall Park would be joining the cast as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, then the news that Walton Goggins had signed on for a yet-unknown - but probably evil - part in the movie. All of that was blown away this past weekend with the news that Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne would be joining the cast as contemporaries of Michael Douglas‘ Hank Pym. Man, these Marvel casts just keep getting better and better.

The field is wide-open for Arrow Season 6, as the CW DC drama moves away from its five-year flashbacks and picks up from a deadly cliffhanger. Now, Comic-Con 2017 reveals a Deathstroke-heavy trailer, as LOST alum Michael Emerson joins in a major role.

I sure hope Brie Larson has a pair of denim overalls and “Jagged Little Pill” on CD because Captain Marvel is headed to the ‘90s.
