Almost dead center on I-20 in North Louisiana sits Ruston, a quaint, medium-sized college town, and now it's home to the 3rd Texas Roadhouse of North Louisiana.

Less than a year ago, Mayor of Ruston Ronny Walker announced that a Texas Roadhouse would be coming to the city, built right off the interstate. In just a little over 11 months, from May of 2024 to April of 2025, the location has finally completed construction and is now open for business.

Only a handful of Roadhouse locations are in Louisiana, and only 2 belonged to the 318 before the Ruston location. Now, Bossier City, West Monroe, and Ruston all have their own Texas Roadhouse.

Seeing as the new location is in Ruston, home to Louisiana Tech University, it should see steady business for the future. Alongside steady business college students are likely to cause some ruckuss around the southern-style steak resturant.

Before the location even opened, a review had been left for the new spot on Google, and clearly it's a harmless prank from some student.

The review gives the Texas Roadhouse a 5-star rating and states, "Texas Roadhouse is good. They gave me bread with yummy butter. If they gave me more bread I would have given 6 stars but they cut me off at my 10th basket since I was having trouble breathing."

So maybe someone with a time machine really did travel just four weeks into the future, then jump back just so they could try the Texas Roadhouse and then leave a review before they ever opened. Though I want to believe this is the case, it's highly unlikely anyone with a time machine is going to Texas Roadhouse with it, unless they know something we don't...
