The Bald Guy Dug for Diamonds at Harrah’s, and Found One!

Coming up over the next 2 weekends, Harrah's Louisiana Downs will be hosting some pretty exciting events.  This weekend, May 4th to be exact, the world famous racetrack will host an incredible kickoff to the season with a huge party.  Food trucks, kids area, and so much more will be on hand at the track to celebrate one of the biggest races in the world - the Kentucky Derby!  The free kids area includes bounce houses, water slides, and face paintings.

The next weekend will be Mother's Day weekend, and Harrah's has something extra special lined up for mom.  10 moms will be selected to literally dig on the renowned racetrack itself in search of a real diamond ring!  9 of them will walk away with some nice looking cubic zirconia action, but one lucky mom gets the real deal!  Today, the fine folks at Harrah's let me and a few others play a smaller version of the same game.  As you can see, the Bald Guy didn't walk away empty handed!  After about 20 minutes, I found a gorgeous trophy for the lovely Mrs. The Bald Guy.

This beautiful ring pales in comparison to the one your mom could be taking home next weekend, so make plans to honor the greatest woman in your life by tossing her in the dirt!  Believe me, she'll thank you for it!

By the way, the folks at Harrah's are just the best!  They put on a spread for us, some of the workers who take care of the horses and their families, and some other folks just to tell us that racing season is almost here.  They could have sent an email, but these folks sent food instead!  I like their style!
