Turning Our Engineer’s Audio Test Into a Song

Does our very own Greer the Engineer have a hit song?

Probably not, but I have to admit, the chorus is a catchy!

In a building full of incredibly hard workers, one hard worker stands tall among us all. Greer the Engineer is, without question, one of the hardest workers I've ever worked with, and easily one of the hardest workers I've ever known. The work for Greer simply never ends, and he always gets the job done.

When I arrived at work today, I had to knock out some production work. Audio for our stream, commercials, etc.. Unfortunately, our audio editing software was not functioning properly so I had to call on Greer the Engineer for help first thing in the morning.

To make matters worse, our software was giving him a little grief to say the least. Finally, after getting it working, he yelled into the mic, "do you hear me??"

Luckily for me, and all of you, he did not delete his short, one or two sentence audio text. So naturally, I took that audio and spent half the day editing it and cutting it, and copying it, and amplifying it, and finally finding a music bed to match it with.
