Walmart’s Drive-In Theater Coming to Bossier City
Walmart announced an exciting pop-up event coming to 160 nationwide locations, and Bossier City is on the list.
Earlier today, Walmart announced they are launching an exciting pop-up promotion nationwide. Beginning this month, they'll be stopping by 160 supercenters and putting a drive-in theater in the parking lot for a couple of days at each stop. They'll be showing a variety of movies including Black Panther, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Back to the Future, and more.
For those who are actively hoping to find new and fun things to do, especially during these hectic COVID-19 times, this sounds like an absolute blast. My daughters have never been to a drive-in movie, in fact, they couldn't really grasp the concept. Now, they are excited to go take it in and experience it, like the good old days!
I was ecstatic after reading Walmart's press release, that not only do we have a pop-up drive-in in our neck of the woods, it's right here on our front door-step. For two days in October, Walmart's drive-in theater will be in the parking lot of the supercenter on Airline Drive in Bossier City.
They'll be showing Men in Black: International on October 9th, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on October 10th.
Tickets to the drive-in theater are totally free, but you must register in advance, which you can do online. Tickets will not be given out at the gate on the night of a show.
