It happens each November. Facebook news feeds erupt with daily postings of what people are thankful for. I've never participated,  but for some reason, this morning, I feel the urge to count my blessings! So please indulge me as I catch up to the rest of the class;)

Day 1: I am thankful for a loving God.

Day 2: I am thankful for my husband, who is not just my partner in life, but my best friend.

Day 3: I'm am thankful for my family, especially my mother who has always supported me, whatever the endeavor.

Day 4: I am thankful for my job. In the radio industry, many are with out employment . I'm blessed to not only be working, but to be doing what I love in my hometown.

Day 5: I am thankful for my health. I'm also thankful that I was moved to quit smoking before my body told me I had to. I hope to give myself every chance at a healthy, long life and plan to tackle diet and exercise next!

Day 6: I am thankful for having 'enough.' Enough food, enough to cover the bills, just enough.

Day 7: I am thankful for the women in my Simple Church Life Group. Each and every one of them inspires me and I am blessed to have stong, God fearing women in my life.

Day 8: I am thankful that I have a job that allows me to serve my community.

Day 9: I'm thankful for my horses:) They're my heart!

Day 10: I'm thankful for Cowboy Church. I go with my mom each Thursday at the Haughton Riding Club. It's a small group of amazing people lead by Dr. Wolfe. It's truly a special group of people who love God.

Day 11: I am thankful for my neighbors. We live a crazy life and not only are they wonderful to hang with, you can always count on them to let out the puppies or pick up your mail when you're out of town. I don't know what I'm going to do when we move!

Day 12: I am thankful that I have music in my life, both personally and professionally. I can't imagine a world without music.

Day 13: I am thankful for books and the people that write them. I'm an avid reader and I am thankful for the hours of pure enjoyment and escape books provide.

Day 14: I am thankful for smart phones. I'm not sure if they make me more or less ADD but regardless, when you're waiting on something or want to kill some time, I turn to my trusty phone to read, play games, Facebook, Tweet, etc...
