Was it an explosion? Some people took to Facebook asking if gas lines blew in a nearby neighborhood. Some people claim that the doors and windows in their homes rattled. What caused the shake-up?

Update: Barksdale Airforce Base Confirm There Was an Exercise.

Several people went on Facebook to ask Barksdale's Facebook page if the big boom came from them and Barksdale Airforce Base Facebook page confirmed and said "Yes EOD was conducting training on base."

We Talked to Several People at Barksdale Airforce Base That Said There are Training Exercises Taking Place.

Some suggested that this may have been a simulated explosion and that's why people all over the Bossier area felt their homes shake.

The last update from Barksdale was concerning a gate closure. "The Bodcau Gate will be close at 10p.m. today, April 11. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. The West Gate will remain open 24/7. The Bodcau Gate will resume normal operating hours starting at 6a.m. tomorrow, April 12."
