We discovered a video that explained how to open a bottle of wine with a shoe and just had to give it a try. So, does the weird trick work?

This happens to my friend Kevin on a daily basis: You grab a bottle of wine, but where the heck did you put the bottle opener/corkscrew? Despair not -- as long as you have a shoe and a wall you can open that bottle in no time flat.

Clearly, the trick does indeed work. In fact, our method ended up outdoing the original video thanks to the cork actually popping out of the wine bottle!
