XXXTentacion’s Mother Confirms His Unborn Child Is a Boy

XXXTentacion's name will live on in the form of a baby boy, as it's revealed today (Aug. 22) that he has a son on the way. His mother has announced that the baby is a boy in an Instagram photo after initially revealing an unnamed woman was pregnant with X's child in June.

In a simple Instagram post of the mother's stomach, X's mother Cleopatra simply wrote, "It's a boy !"

Although few other details about the child are available, Cleopatra has also previously revealed that X's baby will be born before the end of the year. That means, at this point, she is about five months pregnant. She's expected to give birth in November or December based on an initial ultrasound X's mother shared in June. Given how little the woman is showing based on the photo Cleopatra posted, its likely she's closer to the earlier stages of her pregnancy.

It was first revealed that XXXTentacion had a child on the way just three days after he was shot and killed on June 18 in Deerfield Beach, Fla. In the months since the rapper's death, four suspects have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to his death. They are currently awaiting trial.

An abundant outpouring of love was shown from fans and the hip-hop community at large after the rapper's untimely death. A number of posthumous collaborations from him are reportedly in the works, and his most recent album ? recently went platinum.
