If you cut about 90% or so out of last night's Emmy Awards, they were actually pretty entertaining. Here's a recap of the entertaining stuff that happened, or, as we like to call it, the "good version" of last night's awards ceremony.
In a major upset, "Homeland" beat out "Mad Men" for Best Drama in Sunday's Emmy Awards. This could have been "Mad Men"'s fifth win for Best Drama, breaking a record. In fact, the AMC series was shut out of every category it was nominated in.
Someone who apparently had a lot of time on their hands made a video matching dialogue from the TV series "Mad Men" with the lyrics to "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. Turns out it was well worth the effort!

Originally, we planned to celebrate like most men: admiring Christina Hendricks‘ assets then Googling “Christina Hendricks pictures” during commercial breaks. Now we can add a drinking game and choose your own adventure to that list.
The stars of the small screen turned out for the 2011 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday evening, dressed to the nines for television’s big night. Taking a cue from the carpet’s hue, starlets like Lea Michele (‘Glee’), Nina Dobrev (‘The Vampire Diaries’) and Kate Winslet (‘Mildred Pierce’) showed up in red gowns and trains were in too, with actresses including Kristen Wiig (‘Saturday Night Live’), Christina Hendricks (‘Mad Men’) and Cobie Smulders (‘How I Met Your Mother’) sporting floor-sweeping hemlines.
