1, 3, & 6-Year-Old Louisiana Siblings Get COVID Vax in New Trial

As a father of a pre-teen and a toddler, I have been watching the COVID-19 vaccine trials for children very closely.  More specifically, I have been waiting and watching for the approved age to drop low enough for the entire family to get inoculated against the virus that has killed millions of people and shut down our economy.  If you are in the same boat, I have some great news!

According to the New York Post, COVID-19 vaccine trials in young kids are rolling right now in Louisiana!  Ochsner Hospital for Children in Jefferson, Louisiana has reportedly given the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine to three siblings as part of the process to make sure it's safe to roll out state-wide.  Ellie Bui (6)Christian Bui (3), and Sloan Bui (at just 14 months) have all received the initial dose of a 2-shot set.

This plan is part of a large scale test to determine if the vaccine is safe for kids as young as 6 months old.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has already given emergency use authorization for every American aged 12 and up, but this new phase of Pfizer trials is pushing hard to open the door up to pretty much anyone who isn't a newborn.
