Adult Website Reportedly Makes Bid for Superdome Naming Rights
As soon as it was announced that Mercedes-Benz would be relinquishing the naming rights to the New Orleans Superdome, quite a few companies began throwing their hats, and money in the ring to seize the vacated opportunity. According to a new press release, now an adult website has reportedly made a multi-million dollar bid to procure the naming rights.
Adult website stripchat.com has reportedly just made a $15,000,000 bid for the Superdome naming rights according to Max Bennett, Communications Director for stripchat.com.
Are they serious, or is this just a publicity stunt?
Given it's the City of New Orleans, it seems the partnership would be a match made in...well...you know what I'm getting at.
From the stripchat.com press release -
"We have been looking into penetrating the sports world and think this is a wonderful opportunity to do so by announcing a bid of up to $15,000,000 for the naming rights to the Superdome. We’d like to name it the 'Stripchat Superdome' and for it to be home to the future Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints."
Currently, CenturyLink, Ochsner Health System, and Entergy are just a few of the companies that are interested in the Superdome naming rights according to the career website Zippia.
