Animal Protection League Offering Free Heartworm Testing

I feel like every time I go see my vet they are trying to force me to over vaccinate my dog and or charge me for every little thing. Keep in mind none of my dog's vet visits are ever on the cheaper side. April is National Heartworm Awareness Month, which is also our reminder to make sure that our furry children have been tested for heartworms. The Animal Protection League is celebrating National Heartworm Awareness Month in a unique way and you and your pet can benefit from it.

The Animal Protection League took to their Facebook to say "For the entire month, APL is offering FREE HEARTWORM TESTING when you purchase a years supply of prevention!! (12 months of prevention must be purchased at the time of test and can not be shared among multiple pets. Dogs who test positive can not purchase prevention and will be referred for treatment.) We want all of our patients to be tested and protected. Ask a technician for more information today!"
